Planning Together: Building Our Dream Wedding

As our wedding planning progresses, I’m amazed at how much Laura and I have accomplished together. One of the tools that has truly kept us organized and on track is our shared Google Sheet. It’s become our virtual command center—an accessible, collaborative space where we jot down notes, costs, and ideas, no matter where we are or what device we’re using.

The sheet is a testament to how teamwork makes this process smoother. I've created tabs for everything: questions to ask catering companies, photographers, and venue coordinators; cost estimates; due dates; assignments for who’s responsible for what; and even one dedicated to honeymoon destinations. It’s not just practical—it’s fun to see our ideas take shape in one place and to share in this journey as partners.

Speaking of honeymoon destinations, we’ve started dreaming about where we’ll go after the big day. Our current ideas include Portugal and Costa Rica—both offering warmth, ocean views, and a chance to relax and explore. But we’d love to hear your thoughts! Through all the planning, what makes me happiest is the journey I’m sharing with Laura. Each decision, each detail, brings us closer to the day we say "I do." I’m so grateful to be walking this path with her.
